[SN 603301894-1] USED COLE CLARK / BenHarper Skatelap [03]

[SN 603301894-1] USED COLE CLARK / BenHarper Skatelap [03]

"Remove the deck and it turns into a wrap steel!"

Cole Clark and Ben Harper collaborated to create this unique wrap steel, made in 2006.
The deck is a cover that can be removed and converted into a lap steel. The wheel is attached to the steel guitar body, so it remains chunky even after the deck is removed, but it has a core sound and plenty of sustain. Ben Harper is said to have appeared on stage on this guitar and started playing at the drop of a hat. The scale is 25 inches. The only control is the volume.

There are some dents, scratches, abrasions, and paint chips on the deck, but there is no significant damage. There are a few scratches and dings on the body, but you would have to hold it in your hand and stare at it to miss them. When fixing the deck to the body, the shaft on the back side of the deck is inserted into the hole on the body side, and there is a slight peeling of the paint film on the side of the plate that receives the shaft on the first string side of the body surface. The plating of the pegs is dull, and the metal plate in the center of the deck is dull and scratched. The fret lines are probably printed or painted, but some of them are faded. A soft case for the keyboard is included.
This is quite a unique item, but it is perfect as an instrument. It is also excellent as an interior decoration(?). It is also excellent as an interior decoration(?). And above all, it is a valuable collector's item. The early bird gets the wormhole.
