[SN S034032] USED FENDER JAPAN / PJR70 Deep Marine Blue [03]

[SN S034032] USED FENDER JAPAN / PJR70 Deep Marine Blue [03]

A classic model from Fender Japan! The PJR70 is now in stock!

Fender, the undisputed pioneer of the electric bass.
Fender Japan, the Japanese-made Fender brand, operated for many years until 2015. With a rich history, it has produced numerous timeless masterpieces that are still beloved today.

The model we’ve just received is the PJR70, which incorporates modern elements. Featuring a PJ pickup configuration and a 3-band EQ, its design feels like it anticipated the standards of today.
This instrument features a vivid metallic Deep Marine Blue finish that gives off a shimmering, almost glittery glow. Based on the serial number, we estimate it was manufactured between 1994 and 1995. It’s a true gem that rode the wave of the PJ layout trend popular at the time.
The controls—Master Volume, Pickup Balancer, and 3-Band EQ—offer exceptional versatility. True to Fender Japan’s reputation, the quality is far higher than expected, delivering a wide-ranging, well-defined sound.

The gold hardware shows some tarnish, and there are scratches across the entire body, along with several large cracks in the finish. None of these cracks penetrate down to the wood.
The neck is currently in good condition. The truss rod is a bit stiff but functions normally.

This is a stylish guitar that captures the spirit of its era! Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
