We’ve just received a used BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble!
Released in 1976, prior to the launch of the Compact Series, the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was BOSS’s very first effects unit and the world’s first “chorus pedal.”
Created by isolating the chorus/vibrato unit from the legendary Jazz Chorus (JC series) guitar amplifiers, its beautiful sound became the global standard for chorus effects and remains a highly sought-after analog stereo chorus unit to this day.
It was the first effects pedal to utilize BBD (Bipolar Beat-Divider) technology, offering a warm, analog sound unlike any other.
It produces a unique and distinctive chorus and vibrato effect.
Rubber feet on the bottom are missing
