[SN 067565] USED Epiphone / 1968 EB232 Rivoli Bass Cherry [05]
The Rivoli Bass was released in 1959 and was produced until around 1970, while being repeatedly discontinued and revived.
Semi-hollow body with symmetrical double cutaway.
The large front humbucking pickups give it a fat yet unique acoustic sound.
Original nut frets.
The frets are low, but this is not a cause of any particular chatter.
Three pickup screws have been replaced with Phillips screws.
The truss rod is full in the tightening direction, but the current neck condition and string height are in the standard range.
POT DATE reads 137-6539,137-6552.
Although there is a point that the POT was used in the last week of 1965 and the Cherry color appeared from 1966, we have assumed the year as 1968 because of the flat shape bridge adopted from 1968 onward.
