We’ve received a limited-edition model from the early 1970s: the “Tone Bender MK III Hastings”!
While models from this era typically feature a pressed steel case manufactured by Sola Sound, this particular model features a cast aluminum enclosure that was produced for a limited time in the early 1970s.
The internal circuitry features a germanium transistor fuzz circuit, identical to the Sola Sound pressed steel models. It is equipped with three NKT AC128 transistors.
The TREBLE and BASS controls offer a versatile character: turning the BASS control increases the low-end richness, while the TREBLE control provides a clear, focused sound without excessive harshness.
