[SN 401828] USED HOFNER / 500/1 Sunburst [06]
Features a plywood arched top and back body, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and an ebony bridge.
Equipped with two single-coil pickups.
The Hefner Vintage Model controls allow for a wide range of tone shaping.
Although compact, it delivers a warm, spacious sound characteristic of a hollow-body guitar.
Since its arrival, it has been sent to an external repair shop for a neck reset and reinforcement, touch-ups around the joint, re-gluing of the binding, and a full adjustment.
There is a crack visible along the grain starting from the screw hole on the control panel near the bridge, but the crack does not extend into the wood on the underside of the top.
