Radik's classic aluminum Acrolite, 404 snare drum.
It is serial 645912 and appears to be from the mid to late 1960s.
Short decay and bright sound, funky and tight, but with the mildness of wood.
It is a typical Raddick snare with a short decay and bright sound, funky and tight, but with the mildness of wood.
Except for the head, snappi, and other wear parts, the hoop and other major parts are believed to be original.
There are some stains, but there is no major damage and the sound is good.
Parts are not so tired and clean.
Still in good condition for a vintage drum.
Lightweight and easy to handle, Acrolite is very popular.
Especially in the 60's, the sound is more open and mild.
