Featuring a top lacquer finish and specifications sure to captivate vintage enthusiasts, this Made in Japan Heritage model was developed under the supervision of Mark Kendrick, a renowned master builder at the Fender Custom Shop with a deep expertise in vintage instruments.
This is a Fender Made in Japan Heritage 60s Precision Bass, manufactured in 2022. It features an alder body, a maple neck with a 1963 C-profile, a 7.25R radius rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style frets, a Premium Vintage-Style 60s Single-Coil P Bass pickup, a spiral bridge, clay dot position markers, and reverse-winding tuners.
Designed based on profiling data from U.S. models, this meticulously crafted Japanese-made instrument features a top-quality lacquer finish and is packed with attention to detail.
Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, etc.), it is in good condition.
It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to move 60 degrees in both directions with no issues.
