The 53mm diameter driver, the largest in AKG's product line, is driven by a powerful magnetic circuit with a flux density of 1.5T (Tesla). The headphones have a wide dynamic range while accurately reproducing even the smallest of signals.
Around-the-ear earpads, which completely cover the ears, have a three-dimensional structure that increases the area in contact with the backside of the ear and employs 3D slow retention technology to maintain the shape of the surface in contact with the circumference of the ear. They comfortably adhere to the sides of the head while reducing pressure on the sides of the head. In addition, "protein leather," a functional material with excellent moisture absorption and moisture retention properties and a texture similar to genuine leather, is used to maintain moderate humidity inside the earpads.
A special carrying case is included for carrying the earpads while retaining their shape.
