A Precision Bass from the Vintage Hot Rod series, which combines the American Vintage series with modern specifications.
The body is made of ash, the neck is maple with a C-shape, the fingerboard is rosewood with a 7.25-inch to 12-inch compound radius, and the pickups feature a PJ layout with an American Vintage 63 Precision Bass Split Single-Coil and an American Vintage 64 Jazz Bass Single-Coil.
The truss rod has very little play left. Additionally, there may be some crackling noise when operating the controls. It will be sold as-is.
Pickup guards and a finger rest are installed. Both appear to be the original factory-installed parts.
The strap pins have been replaced from locking type to standard type. The original locking-type strap pins are included, but the locking pins are missing.
There are areas where the finish color differs slightly at the neck joint, and the finish has become cloudy at the body cutaway.
There is a dent on the headstock, scratches and dents on the body, and playing scratches on the pickguard.
There is some general wear and discoloration, but the overall condition is good.
