This Yanagisawa alto saxophone, two generations prior to the current model, features a basic yellow brass body and is characterized by a crisp, orthodox sound. It is an affordable model of the 901 series that retains the authentic Yanagisawa sound while incorporating cost-saving measures such as stainless steel springs, the omission of bell engraving, and the use of plastic for some partsāall reflected in the price.The neck has been replaced with a separately sold 92GP (bronze brass, gold-plated, upper type). The included case has been replaced with a VGV. Overall, the instrument shows significant signs of use, with noticeable scratches and rust in areas where the lacquer has peeled off.
