We’ve received a used AKIMA&NEOS Germa Bite II!
Handcrafted by Tsuneo Akima. Based on the Tonebender, this vintage-style fuzz features three germanium transistors for increased gain.
It responds very sensitively to the guitar’s volume control, allowing for a wide range of playing styles—from aggressive fuzz to bell-like clean tones—depending on the player’s nuance.
We recommend using it immediately after the high-impedance input.
This unit is battery-powered only, so please provide a separate 9V battery.
It shows some minor signs of use, but functions perfectly.
