USED ESP / BB-IV Standard See-Thru Black Sunburst [11]

The BB-IV Standard, launched as part of ESP’s Original Series in the late 1990s.

Despite its simple single-humbucker configuration, this practical guitar features an active 3-band EQ, making it capable of a wide range of sound shaping. It is equipped with a Seymour Duncan SMB-4D pickup, which delivers a powerful tone centered on rich bass and prominent mids—a sound that stands out even in a band ensemble.

The body is made of ash, and the neck is a bolt-on maple design. Characterized by quick attack and tight response, it accommodates a wide range of playing styles, from fingerstyle to slap. The 24-fret configuration ensures excellent playability in the higher registers, allowing for flexible execution of technical phrases.

Another highlight is the stable sustain and clear attack provided by the ESP-original bridge. Its simple appearance encapsulates the rational design and dedication to sound characteristic of 1990s ESP.
The bass knob has been replaced.
There is paint reaction around the strap pins. There is paint chipping on the edge of the body back.
