[SN CIJ Q008287] USED Fender Japan / JB75-90US Natural [11]

[SN CIJ Q008287] USED Fender Japan / JB75-90US Natural [11]

A bold, high-powered sound embodied in a '70s-style design
Based on the Fender Japan JB75-90US, this battle-ready model features Seymour Duncan SJB-2 (Hot Jazz Bass) pickups installed in both the front and rear positions. While retaining the classic 70s look—with an ash body, block inlays and binding, and a three-point neck joint—the sound has shifted dramatically toward a modern and powerful tone.

Compared to the bright, open character of the stock model, this guitar features a pronounced midrange presence and thick low end, ensuring it stands out and doesn’t get lost in a band ensemble. It delivers a growling, tenacious tone when played fingerstyle and a well-defined attack when played with a pick. It also pairs exceptionally well with overdriven tones, truly shining in genres like rock and punk.

This instrument successfully combines a vintage-style appearance with a high-powered sound that’s ready to rock. Classic on the outside, aggressive on the inside... highly recommended for those seeking a Jazz Bass that truly stands out on stage.
There are signs of use, including scratches, dents, and some discoloration on the parts.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
