[SN 62341] USED Sadowsky / RB-5 Black [11]
While our current lineup focuses primarily on models made in the U.S. and Germany, this is a Japanese-made model from our past production.
It features Sadowsky’s signature tight low end and clear sound, along with the wide range of sound-shaping capabilities unique to active pickups.
It also boasts the wide range characteristic of a 5-string, making it a versatile instrument suitable for a wide range of genres.
This model also boasts the meticulous craftsmanship and high playability characteristic of Japanese-made instruments.
Overall, there are numerous signs of use, including scratches, dents, and paint chips.
Signs of aging, such as rust and tarnish, are visible on the metal parts.
The headstock and neck have dents, scratches, and discoloration.
There is a crack at the neck joint, and the finish on the body side has peeled away, exposing the wood.
The headstock has a history of repair for a crack. In addition to adhesive repair, a wood filler reinforcement was applied near the 4th string tuning peg screw hole—within the area hidden by the peg—to ensure strength and prevent the crack from spreading.
The push/pull pot has been replaced due to a malfunction. Since it was difficult to source a pot with the same specifications as the original, an A-curve 25kΩ switch pot has been installed as a substitute.
The neck shows no noticeable abnormalities and is in good playing condition.
