A 6-string modern bass with rich mids, born in the dawn of Japan’s high-end guitar era
The "MBC6" is a 6-string model from the Japanese high-end brand Moon. In addition to a multi-string design that was cutting-edge for its time, it comes standard with Bartolini pickups and an active circuit, delivering a thick, focused midrange and excellent projection.

Its solid construction—featuring a walnut/mahogany body, a 5-piece neck, and an ebony fingerboard—ensures high rigidity and responsiveness. Despite having six strings, it offers well-balanced playability.

The sound has a high-end character that prioritizes presence, characterized by excellent projection that ensures it won’t get lost in an ensemble. It also responds well to active tone shaping via EQ, making it versatile across a wide range of genres.

This instrument embodies both character and performance, symbolizing the dawn of the Japanese modern bass era.
There are signs of use, including scratches, dents, and some discoloration on the parts.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
