[SN 050011] USED Burny / MG-130S HIDE Model Modified Cherry Sunburst [12]
Modified versions of the HIDE model have arrived.
This is a reproduction of the "MG-X Custom Cherry Sunburst," which served as the main guitar from around 1995 until the late 1996 release of the Yellow Heart.
Although model names such as the MG-145S and MG-165S were introduced following a price revision, we have designated this as the early-model MG-130S due to the lack of specific identifying features.
The bolt-on maple neck attached to a basswood body with a graphic flame top offers excellent value for the price.
Both the front and rear pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SH-6 models.
The wiring and controls have also been modified; it features one volume and one tone knob, with the tone knob featuring a push/pull switch to toggle between low-cut and high-cut modes.
There are three mini-switches: one for switching each pickup between series, split, and parallel modes, and one for the booster on/off switch.
Although significantly modified from the original specifications, it has been reborn as an even more practical model.
There is significant paint cracking and peeling over a wide area from the back of the body to the end.
Please note that some of the paint on the back of the body is slightly lifting, and depending on usage, the peeling or cracking may spread further, potentially causing damage to clothing or other items (*This is not covered by the warranty).
There are scattered fine scratches and dents throughout the instrument, and the hardware shows some tarnish.
Although it shows significant signs of use, it has been fully maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
