[SN 93017334] USED Gibson USA / ES-175 Reissue 1997 Antique Natural [12]
While synonymous with a full acoustic that has produced many great performances by numerous guitarists over the years, it is regrettably being discontinued in 2019.
The extremely fat, rounded sound of the 16 1/4" full hollowbody is a must for jazz guitars.
Equipped with 57 Classic pickups that reproduce PAF, its clear and wide-range sound is very attractive.
The tune-o-matic ABR-1 bridge provides accurate pitch, and the single-pickup design gives it a sweet, jazz-focused sound.
The response of the laminated maple body and the well-balanced and clear tone are only possible with the ES-175.
The antique natural finish is only available for the ES-175, and is made of high-quality figured maple for the top, back, and sides.
Although it has a strong image as a jazz guitar, it can be used in a wide range of genres as there are rock guitarists who also love to use it.
The label inside the f-hole is missing.
There is a buckle scratch on the body back, and there are also some minor scratches and dings scattered throughout, and the hardware is dull.
There is an additional strap pin on the heel of the neck, cracks in the neck binding due to age, and a crack in the control knob, but there are no problems with use.
The guitar has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
The original hard case is missing, but a Tribal Planet gig case is included.
