With its substantial ash body, a fat maple neck that offers a secure grip, and unique specifications including a single humbucker and 3-band EQ, this model stands alongside the JB and PB as a standard electric bass.
It played a major role in funk and rock in the 70s and in fusion and other genres in the 90s, producing a bass sound with a strong presence across a wide range of genres.
There are general scratches and dents throughout; the body top has playing scratches, the body back has buckle marks, the neck has some discoloration due to the oil finish, and the metal parts show some tarnish.
The frets have been filed down and have about 70% of their original height remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
The logo plate on the hard case is missing.
