The Sting Ray EX was manufactured at a designated factory in Japan using the same hardware as the Music Man USA model.
This is a relatively early model featuring a serial number on the bridge.
It features the classic Sting Ray sound inherited from the US models, and when combined with the preamp equipped with a 3-band EQ, it allows for highly versatile sound shaping.
The bridge mute is missing, and the pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan models.
There are numerous areas of paint chipping, cracking, and dents on the body corners, sides, and headstock, and the neck shows signs of discoloration.
The hardware shows signs of tarnish and rust, and there are small dents accompanied by scratches and dents throughout the instrument.
