This model is a reissue by Epiphone of the limited-edition Explorer originally produced with Korina wood.
Compared to mahogany, its clean sound is very easy to play, and with its Ebony Black finish and gold hardware, it boasts a luxurious look rivaling that of a Les Paul Custom.
There are multiple dents accompanied by paint chips on the headstock, body corners, and body sides.
The metal parts show signs of tarnish and rust, and the plating has worn thin; there are also overall scratches and small dents.
