[SN IMI597A] YAMAHA / AC5R ARE Vintage Natural [03]

[SN IMI597A] YAMAHA / AC5R ARE Vintage Natural [03]

The Yamaha A Series of Japanese-made electro-acoustic guitars, highly regarded for both quality and sound!

The slim, folk-sized body features a single cutaway. The top is crafted from "Solid Sitka spruce" treated with Yamaha's proprietary A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology, which delivers a rich tone that sounds as if the instrument has been played for years despite being brand new. The sides and back are made of "Solid Rosewood."The new scalloped bracing design on the top and a single, shorter brace on the back result in a more powerful and rich low-to-midrange volume, taking expressiveness to the next level.

Equipped with a newly developed pickup and preamp system (SRT2 Pickup System: SYSTEM71), it blends the acoustic sound picked up by the piezo with the sound recorded by vintage studio microphones, achieving a spacious tone on stage that sounds as if it were recorded with a microphone. You can adjust the blend between the piezo pickup sound and the microphone sound, and by switching between sounds recorded with two different microphones, you can freely customize the tone to suit your playing style and the character of the song.

The neck design ensures comfortable playability without any sense of incongruity, whether switching from an electric to an acoustic guitar on stage or recording and practicing in complex open tunings. The finish on the back of the neck, along with the neck cross-section shape and chamfered edges, ensures comfortable playing in the higher frets, providing a grip that offers excellent playability not only on stage but in any performance setting.

The simple binding, which highlights the wood grain, creates a warm and calm atmosphere, while the distinctive pickguard is inspired by the design of the "N1000," released in 1975 and beloved by top artists.

The A5 series, the flagship model of the A series, is Made in Japan. The headstock binding and machine heads are meticulously crafted to meet the demands of professional guitarists, offering high reliability and a premium feel.
