[SN 374892] USED MARTIN / D-76 [03]
1976 Martin/D-76, a commemorative model for the bicentennial of the founding of the United States, is in stock!
A total of 1976 Martin/D-76s were produced from 1975 to 1976.
The three-piece back reminiscent of the D-35, carefully selected 45-grade wood, star-shaped fingerboard inlays, and American eagle head inlays give the instrument the elegance and presence of a commemorative model, making it a very attractive piece.
The serial number 374892 indicates that it was made in 1976.
The main specifications are solid Sitka spruce top, solid Indian rosewood side back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, bridge, non-scalloped X-bracing, V-shape with approx. 42.9mm nut width, and 645mm scale.
The neck cannot be adjusted by turning the truss rod because of the SQ neck specification.
The condition of the guitar is commensurate with its age, with dents, scratches, and metal parts that are dull and worn.
There is a slight bulge below the top bridge.
The neck is in a slightly forward position and is not high.
The frets are as high as new. The string height is 2.4mm on the 6th string and 1.9mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret.
There are many weather checks on the body and head.
There are some paint chips on the body, especially near the sound hole.
We have cleaned, replaced the strings, adjusted the string height, fretted, ironed the neck, replaced the nut, refretted, refinished the neck, and applied PG paint.
You can use it with confidence as an immediate asset.
Please consider it.
