Guild's American-made DD-6MCE is now in stock in used condition.
This is a Doyle Dykes signature model. Based on the serial number, we believe it was manufactured in 2013.
Orchestra body style with Florentine-style cutaway and small size for easy playing.
All solid body, AAA solid red spruce wood top, AAA solid quilted big leaf maple wood back and sides, approx. 44.5mm nut width, and approx. 641mm scale.
It has a beautiful appearance with a gloss lacquer finish.
The sound is delicate and powerful, perfect for Doyle Dykes' technical style. The clear contours and raw volume that can only be experienced with this guitar make it a highly recommended model.
The string height is approximately 2.3mm on the 12th fret of the 6th string and 1.7mm on the 12th fret of the 1st string, making it easy to play. The metal plating is dull.
There are several minor dents on the top, but it is relatively clean. The preamp EQ control knob is sticky due to hydrolysis. The frets have been grated and are approximately 80% high.
The neck is straight and the truss rod is tight.
A genuine hard case is included.
