[SN 93543022] USED GIBSON USA / THE 1929 L-2 [03]

[SN 93543022] USED GIBSON USA / THE 1929 L-2 [03]

This is one of the 100 limited editions made in 1994, the year of the 100th anniversary. It is all solid with sunburst spruce top and rosewood sides and back. The fingerboard is ebony, and the bridge is ebony with long saddles.
The body has a 12-fret joint and L-00 shape.
The nut width is about 43mm, and the shape is slightly rounded. The neck is mahogany.
The GIBSON logo on the head is "The gibson" inlay, and the plate and metal truss rod cover on the back of the head sparkle.
The distinctive gold sparkle decorated soundhole and pickguard are eye-catching.

The pickguard is bent along with age, which does not affect the sound, but makes it difficult to play near the saddle of the first string.
The center strip on the back of the neck is raised with age and feels uneven when held.
Overall, there are some minor dings and scratches.
The bridge stripping has been corrected, but few marks are visible.
Paint cracks can be seen on the body and the entire body due to age.
The saddle has been replaced with a cow bone saddle.
The string height is currently about 2.5mm at the 12th fret of the 6th string and about 2.1mm at the 12th fret of the 1st string. The neck is in proper condition and plays great.
The case that comes with the guitar is original from that time.
