This HD-28V features scalloped bracing, herringbone binding, a long saddle, a decal logo, open-gear tuners, and a tortoiseshell-pattern pickguard.
This particular instrument was made in 2010. It is in excellent player's condition, with flawless playability and a great tone. It has dents, scratches, and some cloudiness in the finish, and the back of the neck and headstock have been relacquered. There is a slight step in the body binding.
The frets are approximately 80% of their original height.
The action is low, with the 12th-fret action measuring approximately 2.0 mm on the 6th string and approximately 1.3 mm on the 1st string.
It comes with the original hard case.
