This is a Selmer Tenor Saxophone Mark 6. It was manufactured around 1974. It features the original lacquer finish. There are visible signs of repair on the U-shaped tube and neck where dents were once present. It possesses the characteristic luster and power of a later model, making it suitable not only for jazz but also for pop music. It has excellent response and seems to pair well with a metal mouthpiece. The pads are in good condition and the instrument has been tuned, so it’s ready to play right out of the box.
