Fender Stratocaster made in 1975 is now in stock.
The Fender Stratocaster, born in the 1954s, has been loved by many musicians around the world and is still used by many guitarists to this day.
This 1975 Fender Stratocaster was made after Fender was acquired by CBS. The large head has a truss rod adjustable bullet from the head side.
The neck plate has a three-point fastening, and there are many other differences from the Fenders of the 1950s through the mid-1960s.
Many Fenders from the 1970s used ash wood for the body, but the one we have just received is made of alder.
The pickups are gray bobbin staccato pole pieces.
The default specification for the '75 is a flat hole piece, but the pickups mounted on this guitar are all dated '74.
The pickups mounted on this guitar are all dated '74, so it is likely that these pickups were built using leftover parts from the '74.
This kind of specification change was relatively common in the 70's, so there is no possibility that these pickups are the original ones.
As for the electrical system, the volume pot is a recent CTS. Both tones were made in 1981. The capacitor has also been changed, and the whole system has been replaced from the original.
The paint on the neck is almost all peeled off except for the head top, which may have been removed by the previous owner.
The paint on the neck is often peeled off at this age, which can be a problem when playing as it can hit your hand and fingers, so we can say that it has improved the playing comfort.
There are scratches, dents, and other strong signs of use, but it has been checked and overall adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.
