[SN 216630055] USED GIBSON USA / 80s Flying V Ebony [06]
The Gibson 80s Flying V is based on the highly popular 1984 model. It features a slim-tapered mahogany neck suitable for technical playing, paired with a rosewood fingerboard.
The iconic mahogany body is equipped with new 80s Tribute pickups that faithfully reproduce the fat tone and rich sustain characteristic of the original models.
The 80s Tribute Pickup offers a warmer tone than ceramic magnets and higher touch sensitivity than Alnico II, III, and IV magnets; it utilizes Alnico V magnets for their excellent balance of output and tonal characteristics.
This pickup was developed to recreate the hard rock sound of the 1980s.
The bridge pickup provides high output and a tight response when playing at high gain, while the neck pickup delivers a clear and tight voice when playing at high gain.
There are numerous fine scratches throughout the body and the back of the neck, and there is paint wear on the top of the headstock that appears to be from clip-on tuners.
It has been cleaned and fully adjusted since arrival.
