A truly exceptional instrument that reflects the maker’s meticulous craftsmanship!
Making advice by Mr. Guo Yulong (a luthier world-renowned for his double-top guitar craftsmanship)
A masterpiece produced by Kagayaki Company!
Featuring an armrest and beveled cutaway, the body is adorned with luxurious abalone purfling that catches the eye.
The top is made of spruce, while the sides and back are made of rosewood.
Lattice bracing is used on the top, while ladder bracing plus additional reinforcement is used on the back.
The mahogany neck (5-piece) has a nut width of approximately 43mm and a long scale of approximately 650mm, with an ebony fingerboard.
* The tuners have been replaced with Gotoh SG301C.
Equipped with a Fishman Presys+ preamp, it performs exceptionally well as an electro-acoustic guitar!
Both the body and neck have a gloss finish; the top has a very thin coat, likely shellac.
Made in Japan
* Since there is no definitive documentation regarding the materials used other than the body top, the listed materials are based on speculation.
Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop!
There was a crack on the 6th string side of the body top, which has been glued and reinforced.
The top bracing has been reattached, the nut slots have been adjusted, the frets have been refretted and leveled, and the saddle height has been adjusted.
The truss rod still has room to adjust, and while the frets have been lowered through leveling, they are still at a level suitable for playing.
The body has scattered minor dents and scratches.
There is some paint lifting (peeling) near the neck joint.
There are a few small cracks near the tuning pegs on the back of the headstock caused by tightening.
It has great response and plenty of sustain! The clear, resonant sound is delightful.
The truly unique bracing likely contributes to this sound as well!
Condition: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use
