A recreation of the guitar featuring psychedelic graphics hand-painted by Jimi Hendrix himself.
This is the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom “Jimi Hendrix ‘Love Drops’ Flying V,” manufactured in 2024. Originally finished in sunburst, it has been refinished in ebony and features the exact same psychedelic graphics as the original.It features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and laurel fingerboard, equipped with Gibson Custombucker pickups and a short Maestro Vibrola.
It is a well-equipped instrument with CTS potentiometers, Mallory tone capacitors, a Switchcraft 3-way pickup selector switch, and a 1/4-inch output jack.
There are signs of wear (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, tarnish on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).
It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to move 60 degrees in both directions with no issues.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use
