Starting in 1947, rosewood was used for the fingerboard.
Made in the USA, at the Nazareth factory
A model produced from around 1996 to 1998.
Featuring a 12th-fret joint and an all-solid dreadnought body, it uses Sitka spruce for the top and mahogany for the sides and back.
It features tortoiseshell-pattern body binding, scalloped X-bracing, and an ebony bridge with a long saddle.
The V-shaped mahogany neck has a nut width of approximately 44.5 mm and a 25.4" long scale, and is fitted with an ebony fingerboard adorned with abalone dot inlays.
The slotted headstock is equipped with Waverly open-gear tuners.
* The frets appear to have been replaced in the past.
Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop!
Bridge detachment repaired, back bracing detachment repaired, and saddle replaced (with cow bone).
The truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees in both directions and is functioning properly; while the frets have worn down, they are still at a level suitable for playing.
The body has scattered dents, paint chips, scuffs, and scratches.
There are paint cracks and peeling near the waist on the 1st string side of the back.
There are also paint chips and dents on the body binding.
There are touch-up marks on the 6th string side shoulder area of the body.
The back of the neck has developed a sheen from playing.
Due to age, there are slight gaps at the joints between the binding and the body, as well as between the fingerboard and the neck.
Although there are signs of use and aging, playability is excellent!
The unique depth of the Martin 12-fret joint Dreadnought design enhances the sense of realism.
