This is a very rare snare drum made from ironwood logs that are dense and hard enough to sink into water.
The ironwood is lathe-turned and formed to a thickness of 12mm.
The inner surface of the shell is carved to enhance the acoustic effect.
After machining, the wood is coated multiple times and finally finished with a satin finish.
The grain of the wood is utilized to create a natural and beautiful visual effect.
The lugs are also made of original lathe-turned brass, and the lugs work to maintain the positional relationship with the head and hoop.
This is a very unique specification.
The woody character is fully expressed with a rich volume range, and it boasts an outstanding presence!
