[SN 1059216] USED Martin / Special Edition SPD-16K2 with L.R. Baggs Anthem Pickup (Made in the USA / 2005) Martin Acoustic-Electric Guitar [08]

[SN 1059216] USED Martin / Special Edition SPD-16K2 with L.R. Baggs Anthem Pickup (Made in the USA / 2005) Martin Acoustic-Electric Guitar [08]

A solid-body dreadnought!

Made in the USA, manufactured at the Nazareth factory
A model produced from around 2000 to 2005.
The all-solid dreadnought body features Koa wood for the top, sides, and back.
Features tortoiseshell-pattern binding, a rosewood bridge, and scalloped X-bracing.
The mahogany neck, with a nut width of approximately 42.5 mm and a 25.4" long scale, features a rosewood fingerboard.
The inlays on the fingerboard, bridge, and rosette are stylish, and the gold tuners add an extra touch of luxury.
An L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup has been retrofitted, allowing you to control volume, blend, battery check, and phase switch functions from the soundhole edge.
The figured koa grain on the body side is particularly beautiful!

Since its arrival, it has undergone ironing, fret leveling, deburring, neck angle adjustment (bolt-on), and piezo balance adjustment.
The truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees in both directions and is functioning properly, and the frets retain sufficient height for comfortable playing.
There are minor dents, scuffs, and scratches scattered throughout the body.
There is some warping under the bridge on the top of the body, but the string height has been adjusted.
Due to age, there is a step at the joint between the fingerboard and neck, paint lifting around the bridge, a step in the binding, and paint pulling and a step along the center seam of the top.
There is clear coat peeling around the neck heel.
There are dents on the back of the neck between the 1st and 2nd frets and near the 3rd fret.
Although there are signs of aging, repair marks, and general wear, playability is not an issue.

Its charm lies in an elegant sound that combines a slightly dry tone characteristic of mahogany with just the right amount of midrange!
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use
Serial No.: 1059216
Accessories: Hard Case
