[SN 1710020] USED Morris / S-86 II (Made in Japan / Handmade Premium) Morris Acoustic Guitar S-86II [08]
This model is a refined version of the S-86, which was released as a limited edition in 2011 and was very well received, and has now become part of the regular lineup.
It features an all-solid classical auditorium body style with a Florentine cutaway.
The top is made of Sitka spruce, and the sides and back are made of African mahogany.
The top features double X-bracing (scalloped), while the back features X-bracing (non-scalloped) plus ladder bracing.
The mahogany neck, with a nut width of approximately 44 mm and a 652 mm long scale, features an ebony fingerboard.
The body has a gloss finish, while the neck has a satin finish.
Wood inlays and other decorative elements give it a more natural, wood-centric look.
Made in Japan
Upon arrival, the guitar has been cleaned, restrung, had its truss rod adjusted, and the frets and nut have been dressed.
The truss rod has been tested up to 60 degrees in both directions and is functioning properly, and the frets retain sufficient height for playing.
There is a slight change in the finish (or perhaps some residue?) on the lower right corner of the body top, making it slightly rough to the touch, but since it is clear, it is not immediately noticeable.
There are a few minor scratches, but overall it is in very good condition and shows little sign of use.
It produces a beautiful sound with very pleasant sustain.
Lose yourself in the world of this guitar with some solo guitar playing!
Condition: A: Excellent
Serial: 1710020
Accessories: Hard Case
