[SN 1975685] USED LUDWIG / 1970s #402 Supraphonic 14x6.5 s/n 1975685 [08]

[SN 1975685] USED LUDWIG / 1970s #402 Supraphonic 14x6.5 s/n 1975685 [08]

The highly sought-after Radick LM402 from the 1970s!

While the LM402 has been a favorite among countless rock legends, the 402 with the 1970s B/O badge is a particularly popular model from that era.

The sound produced by Radioloy—said to be aluminum with a chrome plating—
is the quintessential sound of rock music, featuring an open, lively tone with a pronounced midrange.

This particular unit has serial number 1975685 and is believed to have been manufactured in the late 1970s.
The top hoop has been replaced with a non-original one, but the other parts are presumed to be mostly original.
The drumhead and snare wires are recent (the drumhead is a Remo, and the snare wires are 42-strand Gretsch).

While there are minor scratches overall, some pitting on the parts, and slight pitting on the shell’s plating—indicating reasonable signs of age—the drum is in generally good condition with no major issues, and it maintains a high level of playability.
