This is the classic 4157 model, featuring 8 lugs and a 5-inch depth.
The finish is rosewood.
Featuring Gretsch’s signature 6-ply silver interior,
maple and gum shell with Gretsch’s exclusive silver interior, combined with the soft edge angles to create a rich tone, and the die-cast hoops to produce a short sustain and attack—resulting in a unique sound.
With a sound that is soft yet full-bodied, it is ideal not only for jazz but also for pop music.
There are signs of wear consistent with its age, such as minor scratches on the parts and overall surface, but there is no major damage and the sound is excellent. There are no issues, and it can still be used without any problems.
The snare wire is made by Canopus.
