[SN 714821] USED LUDWIG / 60s No. 410 Custom 14x5 Snare Drum [08]
Originally a Super Sensitive model with a full-head design, this snare was modified to a Suprafonic specification using P-88AC and P-32 parts due to component failure.
The original drum dates from the late 1960s. During the modification, the switch hole was re-drilled, and the bottom hoop was replaced with a Yamaha model. (The four lug mounting screws were also replaced.)
All other parts are original.
In terms of specifications, it has been customized to be equivalent to the LM400.
Sound-wise, like the LM400, it has increased openness, with a thick, rounded midrange characteristic of an aluminum shell.
It has a bright, open sound that’s quintessentially Radick and seems well-suited for pop music.
This snare drum is a model of what a metal shell should be, offering excellent playability.
Overall, there are some plating and part wear consistent with its age, but there are no noticeable areas of damage, and the sound is superb.
Although it is a modified model, its playability surpasses that of the original.
Condition: B: Shows significant wear and signs of use, but is perfectly functional for normal use
