[SN 21029] USED ROGERS / 1960s No. 25 POWERTONE 14x5 Jet Black Pearl [08]

Dayton-made, late 1960s Wood Power Tone

This appears to be a Dayton-made model manufactured between 1967 and 1968.
The Power Tone is one of the most popular models in the Rogers Wood Snare series.
The shell is made of 5-ply maple/poplar with reinforcement and features a gray speckled paint finish.

It has an open, woody tone, yet it’s clear and focused—a well-balanced sound that’s easy to use even today.
It gives the impression of a vintage snare drum that is very easy to play.

Overall, it shows moderate signs of use, including wear on the hardware, some rust, and general polishing marks.
The switch has a bit of play, but it functions properly as is.

The sound itself is flawless, delivering that classic Rogers sound—woodsy yet tight and funky.
