USED YAMAHA / CSC-1455 Concert Model Copper 14x5.5 Yamaha Snare Drum [08]
This is a Yamaha concert-spec copper snare drum from the era when Yamaha was still manufacturing in Japan.
At the time, Yamaha’s copper shells were popular and used by various artists; this model is designed for concert use, featuring a 1.2mm-thick shell and a full-circle snare wire,
It is characterized by exceptional delicacy and responsiveness, as well as a soft, warm sound.
This model seems well-suited not only for concerts but also for jazz and similar genres.
As expected for its age, there are minor scratches, dirt, and scattered pitting, and unfortunately, the emblem appears to be missing. However, there is no major damage to the shell, and the overall condition is fairly good.
The sound itself is very delicate and refined.
The snare wires have been replaced with Pearl ones.
This is a rare model from the valuable era of Japanese manufacturing.
