Other: We have received a 1959 J-50 Thermally Aged Sitka Top Antique Natural Thin Finish, a limited edition model from the Custom Shop category manufactured between approximately 2018 and 2020. Featuring a thermally aged Sitka spruce top and a thin finish that evokes a vintage aesthetic, this guitar has a truly special feel. There are about five impact marks on the tip of the headstock, accompanied by some paint damage and peeling, and one of these marks has resulted in a noticeable dent. However, this blends seamlessly with the nature of the thin finish, giving it the look of a vintage guitar in excellent condition (near-mint or clean condition), which is actually quite cool. Overall, the pickguard shows some scratches from pick play, but these are very light—the kind of minor marks that might appear on a guitar that’s been played during a new-model display at a store. There are no signs of heavy use, and it feels like it hasn’t been played very often, even for serious sessions. The current string action (saddle height) is set to an aggressive specification that evokes the style of one of Japan’s top session and support guitarists (who provide backing all the way through production and arrangement).

* As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, or other imperfections that are difficult to capture in photos or not listed here. Please be aware of this in advance.

* Any measurements listed for the truss rod, remaining fret life, or string height were taken by our staff during setup. These values are subject to change due to environmental factors such as climate and humidity.
These measurements are intended as a reference at the time of purchase; we cannot guarantee that the values will be exactly the same when the item arrives.

* This item is a one-of-a-kind product currently listed simultaneously on multiple platforms, including our in-store display. We strive to remove product listings promptly upon sale, but updates may not always be in real time.
We sincerely apologize if the item happens to be sold out after you place your order, and we ask for your understanding in such cases.
