[SN 08134817] USED T's Ukulele / TMS-220 [11]
Among the T's Ukulele models, which are crafted by a small team in a workshop in Nagano, the TMS-220 stands out as an instrument that strikes an excellent balance between practicality and aesthetics, featuring a solid koa body with shell binding and decorative accents.
Solid Hawaiian koa is used for the top, sides, and back. In addition to the light, responsive attack and clear articulation characteristic of koa, this model offers the rich tonal range unique to the tenor size, making it versatile enough for everything from chord work to soloing.
The neck is made of mahogany, while the fingerboard and bridge are crafted from rosewood. In addition to its excellent playability, this model boasts the high precision typical of a Japanese brand, including stable pitch and well-tuned intonation.
It also features celluloid binding and a rosette, giving it an elegant, understated appearance. The slotted headstock design adds to its classic aesthetic.
A golpe plate and strap pin have been retrofitted.
There are some minor scratches and dents, but no particularly noticeable damage.
The neck has a slight forward bow. This does not affect playability.
