[SN 82092541] USED Takamine / PT Style Slotted Head [11]

[SN 82092541] USED Takamine / PT Style Slotted Head [11]

This Takamine captures the essence of Martin-style guitars from the 70s and 80s.

Built in 1982, this Takamine PT-series model features a slotted headstock and is believed to be made in Japan. As it does not appear in catalogs from that era, it may have been a limited-production or low-circulation model. Despite its compact size, the body offers a rich resonance, featuring a solid spruce top and rosewood laminate sides and back.
Its unique style—combining a 14th-fret joint with a slotted headstock—is a standout feature, resulting in a finish that balances a somewhat classical atmosphere with practicality.
Its understated appearance is also appealing, featuring diamond inlays, a simple rosette, and cream-colored binding.

The sound is well-balanced, with a well-defined midrange and a natural response.
While it possesses the calm resonance typical of rosewood, it also exhibits the responsive character of a solid-top guitar, making it easy to play whether strumming or fingerstyle.
There are numerous scratches and dents, and it shows some signs of wear.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
There is a musty odor in the soundhole and case.
