A 2014 "Wood Library Paul's Guitar" has arrived in stock!
A special instrument featuring a Private Stock-grade flamed maple top! Don’t miss out—act fast!

Paul's Guitar
Like the Modern Eagle, the Paul’s Guitar is a model in PRS’s history that has continuously incorporated Paul’s new ideas regarding sound. Paul himself determined every specification, from the selection of woods to the pickups. Furthermore, this Paul’s Guitar is a model that embodies not only Paul’s vision as a guitar builder but also his aspirations as a guitarist who needs a guitar capable of performing across all genres and environments.

Body, Neck, and Fingerboard
The body features a classic combination of a Private Stock-grade flamed maple top and a mahogany back.
The neck is made of Sipo Mahogany, and the fingerboard features Cataloque.

Sipo Mahogany is a type of African mahogany that has recently gained attention as an excellent alternative to Honduran mahogany.
Its acoustic properties are said to be similar to those of Honduran mahogany.

As for the Cataloque used for the fingerboard, it is an extremely hard wood also known as Mexican ebony, and in recent years it has been gaining attention as an alternative to rosewood and ebony.
Its acoustic properties are also said to be similar to those of ebony.

Neck Shape
The neck shape is the "Pattern" shape used on models like the McCarty. Compared to the Pattern Regular, it is rounder and offers a grip with a slightly more secure feel.

Pickups
The pickups feature "Paul's" pickups developed exclusively for this model, offering an overwhelming range of tones combined with high musical clarity. Two mini-toggle switches are located between the volume and tone knobs. With this setup, you can set either one or both pickups to full single-coil mode, producing a crisp and unique vintage single-coil sound in both single-coil and humbucker positions.

PRS has long been loved by guitarists across various genres. You’re sure to experience maximum performance in a variety of settings, including live shows, sessions, and recording.

Condition
There is some fading of the finish on the body top, a chip in the wood at the tip of the headstock, and a minor crack in the finish beneath the bridge pickup. Additionally, there are scattered scratches and dents throughout the body, showing signs of wear appropriate for its age.

The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other components essential to playability are in perfect working order.
Additionally, upon arrival, our repair center performed a full adjustment and fret leveling, so you can use it with confidence.
