[SN 12-195105] USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / Private Stock #4103 Custom 24 McCarty Thickness Faded Pink [03]

2012 Private Stock #4103 Custom 24 McCarty Thickness now in stock used!

Private Stock
PRS's pinnacle line, 'Private Stock', is crafted entirely through custom orders, separate from the standard production line.
Crafted by a select team of master luthiers using the rarest woods and most luxurious inlays imaginable, each model in this series is painstakingly built. These guitars are not only artistic and beautiful, worthy of being called works of art, but also represent the ultimate guitar, meticulously perfected in every aspect from sound to playability.

This particular instrument is based on the flagship Custom 24 model and features a stoptail bridge.

Body
The body top, often considered the face of the guitar, features intensely figured curly maple.
The body back utilizes korina wood, matching the thickness of the McCarty model. This produces a thicker sound than the standard Custom 24.

The coloring is "Faded Pink" finished with a High Gloss Nitro (lacquer) finish.
The vivid pink hue, reminiscent of Bonnie Pink, creates a look that immediately catches the eye.

Neck
The neck is made from the same Koa wood as the body back. The fingerboard, headstock veneer, and truss rod cover are crafted from East Indian Rosewood.

The neck shape is "Wide Fat". It offers a moderate thickness that doesn't feel unwieldy, providing a comfortable grip.

The "J-Birds" inlay uses "Pink Road Knight," a material chosen to match the body's coloring, resulting in a highly artistic design.
The headstock inlay also uses the same Pink Rhodonite, and unusually for Private Stock, a Paul Reed Smith Signature inlay is employed.

The pegs are equipped with Phase II Locking Tuners, featuring ebony peg buttons.
All hardware is finished in gold, creating a luxurious look.

Pickups
The pickups are the old-style bobbin "HFS, Vintage Bass". HFS, meaning Hot, Fat, Screams, is an evolution of the original Standard Treble pickup. HFS is a powerful pickup with a balanced attack, clear highs, strong mids, and powerful lows. The Vintage Bass is characterized by its warm high-mid sound, ideal for rock and jazz.

Furthermore, the 3-way toggle switch with coil tap functionality allows for more intuitive playing.

Condition
The body back has scattered fine scratches, and the neck has minor dents, but overall it shows minimal wear and is in good condition.
There is a crack in the front pickup's escutcheon.

The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playability-related aspects are in perfect working order.
Furthermore, upon arrival, our repair center performed a full adjustment and fret leveling, so you can use it with confidence.

Private Stock guitars, with their unique selections of wood, parts, and specifications, are one-of-a-kind instruments. Each encounter is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you are considering this item, please contact us promptly.
