Custom 24
From its founding in 1985 to the present day, the Custom 24, one of PRS' most iconic models, has undergone numerous specification changes and has always been a leader in the music scene of its time. The Custom 24 is loved by guitar players all over the world for its beautiful appearance, excellent playability and durability, sound variation, and the flexibility that allows it to be used in a wide range of genres.
Body, Neck, and Fingerboard
The body is a royal combination of one-piece quilted maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of ebony with a tight grain.
Neck Shape
The neck shape is "Pattern Thin" with a wide and thin grip, recommended for those who play a lot of classical styles and technical lead playing.
Pickups
The pickups are the "85/15" pickups, which are brushed-up versions of the early PRS pickups from 1985 for the 30th anniversary. The smooth bass range and clear and wide treble range give the instrument a profound and sparkling sound that can be used in a wide range of genres, especially rock music.
Selector etc.
A 5-way blade switch is included to produce a very sparkling halftone that combines the common humbucker sound with a coil-split sound.
