[SN 10039] USED SUGI / Rainmaker RMG Aqua Timber Neck HH BLK Made in USA [03]
Sugi is a high-end domestic guitar and bass brand based in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.
This newly arrived model is the Made In U.S.A. Sugi RMG (Rainmaker), manufactured at the factory of Tim Wilson, former master builder for Jackson/Charvel.
The neck is Aqua Timber Maple, the fingerboard is Rosewood, and the body is made of Alder.
* Aqua Timber Maple is a highly resonant wood, uniquely dried after being submerged for over 100 years in lake beds like those of the Great Lakes in North America. Long-term aging in the lake bed removes moisture, resulting in a hard, stable wood. This achieves a rich, aged tone reminiscent of vintage guitars, high response and harmonic content, and excellent sustain.
The RMG model features a rare HH pickup layout.
Both front and rear positions feature Sugi's original LH-MF pickups.
Their vintage-like sound with reduced output delivers crystal-clear clean tones and smooth drive sounds.
Controls include master volume and master tone.
Pulling the tone knob enables tap functionality, allowing for a wide range of sound shaping.
While the Rainmaker model began domestic distribution in 2025, the USA model has become increasingly scarce and is now a highly sought-after item.
This is a single guitar finished to an extremely high quality, ready to perform reliably in any situation!!
This used unit is in beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
