[SN CHAR123] USED Fender Custom Shop /Limited Edition Char Signature Stratocaster Charizma [03]
[SN CHAR123] USED Fender Custom Shop /Limited Edition Char Signature Stratocaster Charizma [03]
Char" is still active as one of the most famous guitarists in Japan.
We are pleased to announce the arrival of the Char Signature Stratocaster Charizma, produced in 2012 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Char's debut.
It is one of the most precious Stratocaster made in a limited edition of 200 pieces worldwide since 2011 when it was first released!
The Charizma is based on two of Char's favorite Stratocasters, with a Premium Alder 2-Piece body, 1-Piece Maple neck, and 9.5R Rosewood fingerboard. Rosewood" is used for the fingerboard.
The neck shape is "Char's '59 Strat C-Shape" and 22 "Vintage Style" frets are installed.
The neck shape of the '59 Strat and the CS-made 1961 Strat were measured, and a feel-good grip was adopted for Char.
The neck is moderately thick and the shape gives the impression of being easy to grip.
The body color, which is the most time-consuming specification, is a traditional Japanese color called "Light Brown of Maple Sugar".
This is the first attempt in the history of Fender to use this color, and it was adopted after many meetings.
The matching head specification gives it a beautiful and austere look.
The neck plate is engraved with a special serial number and the Takenaka family crest, and crescent-shaped position dots on the 3rd fret of the 5th string and the 5th fret of the 3rd string.
Three "Paul Waller Designed Handwound" pickups are installed.
The master builder Paul Waller custom designed the pickups, and Abigail Ybarra, a pickup craftsman, made the handwound pickups.
The sound has a different sense of power from the usual vintage sound, reproducing the fat and warm tone typical of Char.
Controls are master volume, front tone, and center tone.
There are many scratches, dents, and paint chips on the body and neck.
There are marks on the end of the body where the rubber seems to have melted and marks on the back of the body where the paint seems to have reacted.
There is also some discoloration on the tip of the back of the head.
There are also a few spots on the side of the frets that look like they have been repaired.
The instrument is in good condition, but there are no problems with the playing surface.
The case is stained and the button on the certificate cover is partially broken.
This is a rare one that was manufactured in a limited edition of 200 pieces worldwide!
