[SN HS9-50167] USED GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP / Historic Select 1959 Les Paul Reissue [03]

A 2015 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Select 1959 Les Paul Reissue has arrived!
* Since original accessories such as the certificate of authenticity are missing, we have determined this to be a 2015 model based on the serial number and other specifications.

The "2015 Historic Select Series" is the "pinnacle" of the line, retaining the astonishing quality of the "True Historic" models while allowing for the use of factory-selected local woods, custom colors, and optional pickups and hardware.

The guitar we have received features a maple top selected for its beautiful, prominent grain.
High-quality mahogany is used for the body back and neck, and rosewood is used for the fingerboard.
The neck shape faithfully reproduces the moderate thickness of a 1959 Les Paul, offering a contour that feels like it’s made for your hand.
The rolled binding further enhances playing comfort.
By re-examining the construction methods—such as the 1959 Les Paul’s neck shape and body arch—and adopting processes that require more time and effort than before, we have crafted a high-quality instrument.

The body features an atmospheric lemon-toned finish that highlights the beautiful grain of the top.
Weighing in at 3.76 kg, this is a remarkably lightweight Les Paul, making it an attractive instrument that allows you to play without feeling the weight.
The components are meticulously recreated based on detailed analysis of parts used in vintage Les Pauls.

It is equipped with two open-coil "Custombucker"-style pickups.
It offers the perfect amount of character typical of a vintage Les Paul: a sparkling high-end when played clean, and the weighty low-end unique to the Les Paul when distorted.
Please note that there are signs that the volume pots have been re-soldered.

As for its condition, there are numerous scratches and dents throughout the body, with particularly large scratches and dents on the back of the neck and the sides of the body.
The metal parts show significant tarnish.
Additionally, all original accessories, such as the hard case and certificate of authenticity, are missing; only a non-original hard case is included.
While it shows significant signs of use, this has little to no impact on playability, and the guitar is in a fully functional condition.

This is a rare and stylish example from the "2015 Historic Select Series"!
It offers a look and sound that can only be experienced with this specifically selected and crafted instrument!
Please take this opportunity to consider it!!
