We’ve just received a used 2024 Fender Custom Shop LTD 1956 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic Aged Black!
The body features a "2-Piece Off-Center Alder" construction finished with "Flash-Coat Lacquer."
The neck is made of "Rift-Sawn Maple" finished with "Medium Tint Flash-Coat Lacquer," which has a yellowed patina from the lacquer's natural aging, and features a compound radius of 7.25–9.5R on the fingerboard.
By using a thin layer of Flash-Coat Lacquer on both the neck and body,
results in a guitar characterized by a rich, resonant tone.
The neck shape is a "54 Strat Soft 'V'," and it is equipped with 21 "Medium Vintage/47095" frets.
The slightly thicker neck shape and Medium Vintage frets provide a vintage feel and
a punchy, powerful tone.
The entire guitar features a "Journeyman Relic" finish, and the body color is "Aged Black."
It features a dense pattern of weather checking, resulting in a look full of character
